Collaborators

The 14UD accelerator laboratories are operated as a National Facility, with many active national and international collaborations. The studies and the international competitiveness of the research carried out in the department draws on a suite of techniques and instruments, and on the flexibility of the Heavy Ion facility: the 14UD can produce a wide range of energetic ions, which can have pulsed characteristics within the nanosecond to seconds range.

Collaborations with the Department of Nuclear Physics can be based around the 14UD accelerator facilities, around the laboratories of the collaborator(s), at other facilities, or on a mixture that takes advantage of the strengths of each.

The Department of Nuclear Physics welcomes requests from research groups or individuals interested in exploring the possibility of establishing new collaborations that could exploit the unique resources and instrumental capabilities of the laboratories. Interested parties should contact the appropriate staff members directly via the NPAA people listing.
